Employees who use commute alternatives are eligible for an emergency ride home, up to six times a year, through the TMA’s Guaranteed Ride Home program. (For TMA member employers only).

Depending on the distance from work to home, taxi cabs or rental cars provide the free ride home.

Qualified emergencies include unscheduled over-time, childcare emergencies or sickness.

The program allows employees to use commute alternatives with the confidence that they can access personal transportation quickly in times of emergency.
